This week's famous immigrant is actor and once-"illegal" Canadian immigrant, Michael J. Fox. From FoxNews:
This Canadian actor suffered some nervousness at the border early on in his career, when, as he wrote in his 2010 autobiography, "the actual visa had not yet come through" and he was asked if he was entering the country for work or pleasure.
Far more important than his legal status, Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, is best known for his acting and charity work. He's been in numerous movies and television shows, such as Back to the Future and Spin City.
Fox is likely best known for his role as Alex P. Keaton in TV's hit series, Family Ties. Here's a clip:
